Diary of an Armstrong honeymoon
To make the best pictures a little easier to look at, we've decided to make a blog from the diary I wrote on our honeymoon. Also, I'm more than likely going to lose the little book I wrote it all in at some point, so it'll be much safer online!
The morning after the wedding, the weather was beautiful, so we were able to sit out on our veranda looking over the loch on Dundas estate while we had breakfast. Unfortunately due to excitement and being generally overwhelmed with everything that had happened the day before, we could bearly touch the mountainous breakfast hamper we'd been given! We should have crammed it all into our suitcase and taken it with us...
We had a delicious lunch in Orroco Pier hotel then took a taxi to the airport. at 2.30pm. When we mentioned to the BA staff that we were concerned about losing our bag in Terminal 5 as we were on our honeymoon, she put a Priority Ticket onto our luggage, and let us wait in the business lounge before boarding. There, we were given a bottle of free champagne as a gift! Having already had one for lunch, we were in good spirits when we eventually got on the plane!
When we got on the Bangkok flight in London, Colin was brave enough to mention again that we were on honeymoon, and "could we possibly get an upgrade?!" She said she's try to find out , so we sat down in the coach class seats. But shortly later, she came along and offered to move us to Club class! It was great - nice food, all the free drinks we wanted (ie. more champagne!) and best of all, horizontal beds! We slept very well that night!
