Baby's new wardrobe

Now I'm 30 weeks pregnant, we thought it might be time to start getting some supplies, just incase Baby Armstrong makes an early appearance into the world. Up until recently all we had were three knitted garments, very kindly created by Granny Armstrong! However, we felt this probably wasn't enough to sustain a newborn. Every shop we've looked through so far seem to only have gender specific items in either pink or blue, which will only be useful to us if we were the gambling sort.

So today we went to Asda on a friend's recommendation to have a browse through their baby range... and came back with these to start us off!

It's amazing how buying a couple of garments for baby has made it seem more real!!! The packet contains 3 sleep suits, 3 bodysuits, 2 scratch mitts, booties and a hat, all for the bargainous price of £7!!!

Even though the sleep suit is for newborn, it still seemed to be awfully big to me. So I held it up against the bump for comparison...

When comparing it to the bump, I guess it seems a little more likely that it's going to fit - although I've still got over 2 months to go and seem to be large before my time! People at work have been making comments like "Are you sure you don't have two in there?!" which is making me a bit nervous that I'm going to give birth to a giant. So hopefully if it stops growing so fast and is born a normal size, we'll be able to use the cute wee sleep suit for at least a few nights!!!

There's certainly one member of our little family who's making full use of the big comfy bump while it's still around...
