Hummingbird baking

We have a book box at work brought by "The book people" company. I always sift through the books, then go back to ignoring it. But last month, this cookery book caught my eye...

When I looked into it, it turns out it cost £5 down from the recommended retail price of £12.99!! And after flicking through the delights inside, I decided it would probably be £5 well spent. It arrived on Monday, so yesterday during Hannah's naptime, I tried my first recipe - Chocolate Brownies... and they are GOOOOOOD!!!

On an unrelated topic, Hannah picked up my camera and passed it to me yesterday, so I pointed it at her and asked her to smile - and for the first time she did it when asked!
Or perhaps it was because she had just finished a tiny bit of the brownie mentioned above and was pleased with me.

Mmmmm - they look good. I have kept one of each of the Hummingbird Bakery note cards that you gave me for Christmas so that I can try out the recipes on the back of them. Brownies were going to be the first I tried once I get back in to baking. But maybe I'll just eat yours!
